Description
After big rainfall we had recently, I went outside with my macro lens to take close ups of any raindrops left on foliage. These pretty pink periwinkle flowers were really holding on to the raindrops making the petals look like they have polka dots.
Periwinkles (Apocynaceae) are a trailing type plant meaning they can be used as a ground cover. They like shade or sun and are easy to grow. They are also called Vincas.
