This black and white image of the leaning tower was shot during my educational travels abroad. The image contains dark shadows, which sets the mood of the photograph. The lens looks up at the tower, providing the tower with colossal height. The viewer is microscopic compared to the architecture. This emphasizes how Renaissance artists would build toward the heavens. People were seen as insignificant compared to God.
