Description
This is my interpretation of a gondola ride through the back canals of Venice. I added hanging laundry for added color and interesting shapes; and they gave the scene more of a real interpretation. The color of the canal water is sea green, and I wanted to portray that. This is done in my Contemporary Realism style--flat shapes, vibrant color, tidal wave shapes for water, just a suggestion of balconies--no actual platforms. And Circles were added for spots of color, energy, and whimsy.
