Meet Larry, my favorite donkey. A friend and I found this little fellow in bad shape! He had been in a field that had a pond for water so in the owners mind he should have had a happy life, truthfully though he needed much more than that! We brought him back to the farm and proceeded to tend to his skin issues and got him out of the weather and into his own cozy stall and gave him three square meals a day and lots of carrott as snacks in between. Larry blossomed and as it is with most rescued animals, he was very appreciative! This little donkey who had never been handled was turning into a family pet. He adores children, loves his back rubs and comes when his name is called. I love the look of gratitude in his eyes.
