Jumpman, more than a title its a way of life.. while creating this painting Ive experienced a really trying period of my life.
Divorce, career change custody battle.It has proven very difficult to maintain my inspiration. But this painting has taught me something. Sometimes we go through the motions in life and we are not living up to our true potential. We experience traumatic events because of this. Through this experience I learned a lot about life itself and what it means to be talented gifted. The bible spells it out god is not pleased when we hide our talents Matthew 25 15-29. Michael Jordan earned the title Jumpman his legendary talents for basketball still unmatched and because he chose to use them wisely he was blessed tremendously. We must use these examples and apply them to our own lives. Find your talent use it and give god the glory. Do you have what it takes to be a Jumpman?
