Description
I came across this message written in bricks in the sand dunes of the west coast of Jutland in Denmark. The bricks have been taken from the ruins of a deserted lighthouse which is being slowly consumed by the the massive sand dunes which surround it. The place is on the northwest coast of Jutland and known as Rubjerg Knude. The lighthouse has been abandoned for almost 50 years. The religious message spelled out in the dunes has taken on a timeless feel in the exposure to the elements and the late afternoon sun.
