Chrisann, you know I don't really do abstracts but I do appreciate one like this. I also realize how difficult it is to do a good red and almost black contrast with the paints and I love the way you did this on an angle. This is really nice. It reminds me of this verse from "After the Storm". "But there'll come a time, you'll see, when no more tears and love will not break your heart. Dismiss your fears. Get over the hill and see what you find there with grace in your heart, and flowers in your hair."

I am impressed. We both have the same vision In June of 2011, I was returning from a trip to Kings Canyon and photographed a sunset just like this (Goodbye Day). The beauty in this is its simplicity. A hillside, the setting sun and wild light with nothing else to mess up the signal.
