This is Iron Point on North Haven Island just leaving the Fox Thoroughfare. We were sailing through the Fox Thoroughfare on our way to Stonington Maine. I fell in love with this adorable, quintessential coastal Maine building just to the right in the photograph. This is the type of building you would hope to see while sailing along the lovely coast of Maine. Even as a native Mainer, these idyllic scenes take my breath away. I love that there is indeed a seagull perched on the chimney of this building. It might be difficult to see, but believe me, he is there! He is most likely waiting for a fishing vessel to come back from their hard day's work to see if there might be a tidbit of fresh Maine fish for his dinner!
