Description
These images are of individual or small groups of leaves or occasionally a branch or even a part of a tree. They were taken at varying locations across the Midwest, Missouri and in Illinois. Weather conditions differed; fog and cloud cover create a softer, more diffuse and stand out vibrant color, while those leaves shot in direct sun take on a brilliant crisp look with pronounced shadows and shiny reflections of sunlight or a tinge of blue from the sky. Some were shot with a zoom lens with a narrow point of focus, which was intended to highlight a particular element, while the remainder of the image is blurred as was intended as well. In others, you'll find the entire image crisp and clear.
