Description
Since I've first viewed this metal steel bridge, I've wanted to photograph this stunner at night at sunset. The Honsellbrücke or Honsell Bridge (Honnsell, Honsellbridge) is located in downtown Frankfurt, Germany (Frankfurt am Main). It is one of a collection of wonderful bridges spanning the Main River.
Construction stated on this bridge in 1908 with Art Nouveau elements and wonderful curved lines, lit beautifully in the evening. This bridge leads to Sachsenhausen district where my daughter lives,directly across the river from the Alstadt, or old town Frankfurt.
This is probably my favorite bridge in Frankfurt.
