Description
For many years I made a living as a freelance illustrator, and much of my work was in the realm of cartooning. There is not telling how many cartoons I produced between the years 1972 and 1997 . . . The proverbial “ten thousand” comes to mind. Most of the original artwork is long gone— back in this cave-manish days I would actually send my ORIGINAL artwork to my clients so they could reproduce them in the highest quality possible. Astounding! No doubt nearly all those works ended up in a trash can somewhere. But thanks to the technology of Photoshop and the internet I have been able to resurrect most of these lost “masterpieces” (Ha!) — much the way musicians can now re-issue their old tunes in a “remastered” manner.
