The Gold Coast (on the east coast of Australia) is much like Los Angles but on the opposite side, with a mountain range behind it and a great ocean in front. This unique geographical combination allows for color to last longer in the sky during sunset and sometimes lower clouds can be lit up separately as the sun is setting without affecting the higher clouds in the background.
I am always on the look out for expressions of love in nature and as I was scanning the sky from my balcony I noticed this cloud beginning to form and started to watch it more closely. Often times clouds will look like forming into a heart shape but don't quite make it all the way so it is very rare that they actually do form into a full love heart like this.
I was struck with awe in this moment and almost missed the opportunity to capture it because in total, the shape of the heart and the light hitting it lasted for less than two minutes, giving me just enough time to race inside, grab my camera, adjust the settings and snap just one frame of this amazing scene before it disappeared forever.
As I continue strengthening my connection to Source Creator, I would consider this to be a strong sign from heaven reminding me that God does exist and loves us all with Heart and Soul.
Disclaimer: This image is not retouched, a composite or AI created (I believe AI in photography is cheating/stealing and I always aim to create my images totally within the camera wherever possible) - All that was added was a touch of vibrancy to bring out some of the layers in the cloud and I made the overall temperature a little colder which changed the color of the cloud to a more softer pink color to give it a more romantic feel.
