Description
Large billboard in the small rice-farming town of Eagle Lake, Texas, informs of the basics and boldly announces, “The place where God’s people receives God’s Word.” An attention-getter for sure, especially among grammarians.” For this degreed technical writer and editor, a divine find--eternally memorable.
I hesitate to point out that there is not a single mountain anywhere near Eagle Lake, Texas, though there might be a lake. Pretty picture though. Most ranches have a lake, which in Texas we call a "tank." I'm not sure why. Just reporting.
