Description
This painting is part of my mermaid series. I decided that the mermaid in this painting would be in freshwater. i liked the idea of her peering through some water lilies at nighttime. I added metallic colored paint to her scales and blue sparkle paint to the night sky. The mermaid has an asian look to her and is exotic.
I'm very happy to announce this piece received an Honorable Mention in the art exhibit, " Pure Imagination" at Framations Art Gallery in St. Charles, MO. Thank you to the juror and thank you Framations!
