The more you look, the more you see. The details draw you in and have almost a hypnotic effect.
Coleman Schoessow draws abstract, steam-of-consciousness art by hand. Drawing in his unusual, intricate, non-objective style is his version of meditation. His work is drawn intuitively, and is highly detailed with interesting design elements that allow for viewer interpretation. This piece was drawn with black ink on illustration board.

'...steam-of-consciousness...' is a nifty handle; and I much enjoy where you have taken the process so far. The play between 'mindfulness' and meditative or intuitive imagery is the subject of both my wife's work and my own - for decades. Thank you very much- I really appreciate your comments. Drawing is how I meditate. I let my mind relax and just draw. "Intuitive imagery" would be a good phrase for it also. Best to you and your wife as well.
