This beautiful fountain or waterfall is the central dramatic focal point in The Jewel in Singapore. Next to Singapore’s Changi Airport, named the world’s best airport, it is called the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. Engineered by Los Angeles design firm WET, the Jewel Rain Vortex sends rain-harvested, recirculated water seven stories down from the roof in a circular waterfall. At ground level, the water flows into a giant acrylic funnel that creates an inverted waterfall on two below-ground levels! Jewel Changi Airport is a nature-themed entertainment and retail complex on the land side of Changi Airport, Singapore, linked to three of its passenger terminals. Its centrepiece is the world's tallest indoor waterfall, the Rain Vortex, surrounded by a terraced forest setting. The 10 story Jewel includes gardens, attractions, a hotel, aviation facilities and over 300 retail and dining facilities. It is ringed by flowers and just DEMANDS to be photographed! Created by Israeli Moshe Sofdie , even more incredible I think was his Habitat 67 in Montreal, including 5 story garden with 131 foot rain vortex that falls seven stories. On fifth level is suspended bridge, mazes, slides and animal topiary and mist gardens, hope you get to see. Beautiful image by a most talented person indeed, which has given joy to millions of viewers. Congrats on feature too in All Glorious Gardens.
