Craig is one of the people responsible for manning the Peace Vigil in Lafayette Park across the street from the White House in Washington, DC. Someone needs to be at the vigil at all times, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, or else the United States Park Service, which oversees the federal land that is Lafayette Park, will dismantle it and poof! it will be gone. This battle has been going on for over 38 years, beginning with President Ronald Reagan's attempt to have it permanently demolished back in the early 1980s.
