Description

This lovely flower was just starting to sport blossoms. I was attracted by the few blooms surrounded by the unopened buds. It looked like fireworks. And the soft pink against the green leaves made it stand out. The shrub is sub-tropical as it was outdoors in southwest Florida, although I must admit I don't know the name. I have done some digital painting and applied a watercolor application in this version.

I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains.
