Description
Fishing the White River, 1946 is based on an old and faded postcard that was postmarked August 3, 1946. World War II had not been over a year. I'd like to beleive the postcard was mailed by a veteran of that war, finally home and finding peace and joy in his life as he float-fished the White River near Branson. It's difficult to read the sender’s writing, but I could make out, “having good luck floating rivers in every state”. It was mailed to someone in New Hampshire.
