This scene is an adaptation from a photo I made when I was in Scotland back in 2002. This castle, actually a manor home, is one of the most photographed and painted in all the world. It holds special significance to me since it was built upon the ruins of one of my family's ancestral castles. Not only is it a beautiful home, it's a beautiful spot at the confluence of three locks. The scene is something out of a fairy tale and could easily be from Lord of the Rings. I hope you enjoy it and I would encourage you to visit this incredible location.
