Description
Last year, while in California, I photographed many of my mother’s garden flowers. I happened to see this blue dragonfly on a rose leaf with its foot on an aphid bug. Not only do dragonflies eat mosquitoes, but they also are beneficial to the other harmful bugs in a garden. This close up shows its foot on the bug.
