Description

While exploring downtown Fernandina Beach before the Concours d'Elegance recently, I was attracted to the beautiful reflections along the docks. The abstractions made by the water currents and light refractions were interesting. In this version I converted it to black and white and applied a posterization effect.

The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance is an automotive charitable event held each year during the second weekend in March at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island in Amelia Island, Florida. The weekend features a parade of a sampling of some of the rare automobiles through downtown Fernandina Beach where they are parked for a few hours so thousands of people can inspect and admire these beautiful machines.

I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains.
