I recently attended a wonderful workshop on garden photography, and one of the places we visited was Endless Summer Dahlia Farm in Camden, Maine. The dahlias were all absolutely gorgeous, and it was hard to decide what to photograph, although some were in bright sunlight, so I tried to stay in the shade.
I don't know the name of this lovely dahlia, but I wanted a soft focus look and the petals of this beauty were just right for that look.
Processed in Photoshop with On1 Effects 2019 and a number of textures.
Nikon D810 with Nikon 200mm micro lens.
