Our big bad blue crew wolf mascot is rowing in the regatta, hoping to finish first! The wolf is known to be social and travel in packs. Wolves are the largest species in the canine family. This wolf likes to row eights best in order to have the wolfpack in one boat.
Universities such as Cheyney and the University of West Georgia have the wolf as their mascot. Other college mascots are called the Wolfpack, like the University of Reno Nevada (UNR). There are other modifications too, including the Colorado State Pueblo Thunderwolves and the Northwood University (NU) Timberwolves. Don't cry wolf -- for all the rowing wolf fans out there, we back your pack.
