As if on color cue, this beautiful Dahlia and a bowed bud head, a tuber and not a bulb, caught the afternoon sun shining through its petals taking on the soft color of pink as if it were Cotton Candy. The bright Spring sun accentuated the veins of the petals, the true lifeblood of the plant. One can almost taste the sweetness of this beautiful flower. How beautiful it is. to see the handiwork of nature made by the great Creator!
Dahlias need full sun 6-8- hours a day. There are a variety of dahlias. These include the cactus, a double flowering bloom, semi cactus, mignon, decorative, pom pom, single, all in colors of the rainbow. What beauty.
