My brother-in-law was born in Alia, Sicily. He left there at 18 months of age. He recently returned for the first time in over 60 years. He met with the midwife who delivered him. He still has family there and the visit was a great experience. I painted this per a request from my sister. She took this picture of the Crest or Seal of Alia. What a great remembrance for my wonderful brother-in-law.
