November 8th around sunset, which is earlier now that we changed the clocks, we went down to the lake. It's kind of hard to believe we're heading into winter season in this strange year. It almost feels like summer whooshed by. The sky was empty of clouds and a lone seagull was flying overhead. The air was warm and the docks piled on the beach. I had this faraway feeling and depicted that by panning the camera during exposure. It lent the image a surreal feeling, a reflection of the events happening all around us.
