"Comic Book Colors" refers to a line in Grateful Dead's song "China Cat Sunflower": "Comic book colors on a violin river cryin' Leonardo; Words from out a silk trombone. Psychedelic color pattern derived from a t-shirt of a floral motif and rendered to look tie-dyed. I took a picture of the shirt with the intention to make this image. Mild distortion effect applied to original photo. Extra long format. Vertical panorama.
