Description
Cocktail Tomatoes Juicy, sweet, and versatile, cocktail tomatoes range from 2-4 oz — bigger than cherries and grapes, but smaller than slicers. Perfect halved or served whole on salads, cocktail tomatoes are often called saladette or salad tomatoes.
Cocktail Tomatoes ripen on the vine starting from the fruit closest to the plant to the fruit at the tip. This first tomato is called the king fruit and the last tomato to grow and ripen is called the tail fruit.

mmmmm My goodness they are magnificent and the blue plate........makes this image perfect. Well done Joyce
Joyce Dickens replied:
These tomatoes are the closest thing to home grown that I can find out here in Klamath Falls Stuart-nothing like a vine ripened tomatoe! Mine are not ripe yet and with the oncoming weather, I may have to pick them green and ripen inside.....thank you for the lovely comment and appreciation Stuart!! :-))
