Description
The ambitious Buffalo Bayou Park is a $58 million project which comprises a network of trails, bridges and green areas that has been likened to Houston's own Central Park. This is panoramic image of the newly built Carruth Bridge, made a few minutes before sunset. The South end of the bridge (right side) faces the Houston Police Memorial, not seen on the image.
I visited this location twice in one day, during sunrise and sunset. There was a photographer that was positioned on the other side of the bridge, (not visible on the image), who questioned why I was shooting on the other side if the bridge was blocking my view of downtown! Yes, the bridge blocks the view, and yes, the bare tree also blocks the view. But you make the ultimate decision, you like?
