It once housed a Catholic convent school known as the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (CHIJ) and their convent quarters known as Caldwell House. The order of the Holy Infant Jesus was founded by a Frenchman, Father Nicholas Barre. Born in Amiens, France in 1621.
The air conditioning in the hotel was set to cold and when I opened up my camera outside the lens kept fogging up. This is the reason why the picture looks slightly misty.
