Description
Carson Mansion Black and White
This home was commissioned by William Carson, one of California's first lumber barons, in 1883 and took over 100 men over two years to complete the home. At the time mansion was built it stood overlooking the Carson Lumber Mill and docks.
The Carson Mansion was owned by the descendance of William Carson into the 50's when it was sold to the Ingmar Club. The Ingomar Club serves a dual mission of the restoration and preservation of the unique historical building and grounds of the Carson Mansion, while providing fine dining and social experiences for its members.
This is said to be one of the most photographed homes in America.
