This image is similar to another one I have listed here but in this image I colored the icicles a tone of blue for impact against the red of the rock. Driving from East Aurora, New York to Orchard park along Route 20A Cazenovia creek winds along side the road. At one point in a recent trip I grabbed my camera and took a stroll across a snowed over field in January to take some images of these ice stalactite forms. These are actually formed by ground water gradually seeping out between these sedimentary rocks. In the summer time where you'd see rich mossy areas from the moisture in the Winter you see these ice formations.

Wow! What a great capture, Darleen!!! The first thing that caught my immediate attention was the "face of a man" in the orange rock. The smaller display of icicle stalactites look like they form his beard!!! I'm surprised that no one has mentioned this is in commenting on the beauty of your capture so far!!!
