Description
This image of a colorful male Anna's hummingbird was taken a few years ago at a feeder outside my second story window. All the hummers visiting the feeder became quite used to me, so I could watch their antics from my desk. Here, the sunlight is accenting this gorgeous fellow's feathers even adding a tiny sparkle to his eye! He looks as though he is not quite mature yet since his crown still has a touch of green.
