On March 1, all of the Bradford Pear trees in El Paso got the go ahead to start blooming. So many bees, but none would stop and pose. There were so many bees that we could hear them before we were close enough to shoot pictures. I had my lens set on 300 mm macro with a fairly wide aperture of about 5.6 so the depth of field was pretty narrow, but the background was totally blurred. Yes, luck plays a role sometimes.
