Made before 3 hip surgeries to reconstruct me - It was all I knew how to do was draw this image to tell how I felt. Beyond pain is something called orthopedic surgery, hell on earth for three years. This image is beautiful to me because it's real, honest a little bit terrifying.I don't think art should be based on making pretty images that make people feel comfortable. This was my Frida Kahlo moment, I hope she is proud off me.
