Bearded Irises are some of the most popular perennials flowers that come in a variety of colors. Bearded irises have flat and sword-like foliage, that are 2 more feet tall. Irises are some of my favorite flowers.

My mother had several irises in our yard, and I truly wish that I had irises in my garden. There were several bearded irises in the garden at Historic Westover in Charles City, Virginia. I was able to photograph this single iris with this dark background.
