Description
A small oil sketch of the shore, looking out onto the barrier islands. There are a lot of scenes like this on Eastern Long Island, where the view from the shore leads to the opposite side of a cove, a neck, Fire Island, or (on the North Shore) Connecticut.
Unfortunately, my idea of painting summery Seascapes and Springtime landscapes to ward off winter seems to have backfired in a very big way. Another foot of snow � who notices any more?
