I recently spent two days exploring my local area looking for rural landscapes, farms, barns, and Americana to photograph. In addition to finding some interesting places, I discovered so many locations that I want to visit again, perhaps in a different season. This beautiful barn was just north of Cleveland, Tennessee and I just had to stop and take a few shots because I loved the textures and subtle colors of the barn itself set against the bold colors of a rural Tennessee summer landscape. So far this year we have had so much rain that everything is very lush and vibrant. A nice summer sky added the finishing touch to this simple composition.
