Description
As far as the eye can see it seems as if blocks and blocks of broken abstract rocks as “rivers” flow along the landscape. Small bushes, and trees dot the landscape around the blocks. It is amazing to see the rocks broken up in segments. It is with these broken pieces, some as large as small homes, are what the Dine, or Indigenous Peoples of Eastern Arizona built their homes east of Sunset Crater. The beautiful colorful rocks ranging from dark yellow to deep crimson red. When you see the beautiful ancient dewllings of Dine, or The Ancient Ones, the architecture and engineering of these amazing peoples rival any architect with extensive degrees from famous educational facilities. And, when you realize these structures still stand after hundreds of years, the skills of these magnificent peoples stuns the mind. On the far horizon, the Painted Desert can be seen.

It's Dine territory, but from what I remember, they attribute the ruins to the Sinagua. They say nobody knows what happened to the people.
