An old-school look is what I was going for here, found an airplane in a hangar that fit the bill, and getting the subject to look the way we wanted was just a matter of good styling. He had the hat, so we only needed to find the right shirt, and that's what it takes to add to this illusion. It's all an illusion anyway.
