This painting was inspired by a place I visit once in a while. It is an old colonial time Forest Station. They retained all the old architecture intact. I love the old cabins. The place has a very natural feel to it. The forest surrounding the old homes is quite thick so that people passing around the forest no matter how close never see this place unless they literally go there.
I have always wanted to paint this place. I am glad that eventually I got to do so. Welcome to Gati-Iguru Forest Station. A beautiful place in that beautiful Country Kenya in that beautiful Continent Africa in that beautiful green and blue ball EARTH!
