Across Cook Inlet,
Our Last night in Alaska and as beautiful as it all is I was ready to go home. But then from the window of my hotel room, way later than I normally stay up, I watched my final Alaskan sunset from this adventure. It was getting pretty near midnight when I sat up and watched this beautiful scene unfold in front of me.
This was the first day of June and yes, the sun did set, if you want to call it that. The sun drops below the horizon but never far enough for darkness, just this beautiful alpenglow of the mountains across Cook Inlet.
