'66 Ford Mustang --By Doug Kreuger
This artwork is something I have been thinking about creating for a long time. It is a result of attending many local Car Shows/Cruise Nights and Antique Car Museums over the years.
I am fascinated by the amount of time, money and pride owner's have invested in restoring and showing their classic cars. At one time, earlier in my life, I also had a dream about restoring an old car. But my dream has never gotten closer than viewing and enjoying the restoration work of other car enthusiasts.
Aside from the gorgeous paint finishes, and highly-polished chrome trim, I am most fascinated by early hood ornament designs, which grew out of decorative radiator caps, and iconic car emblems.
'66 Ford Mustang is my first effort in a planned series of classic car artworks. Featuring: Detailed close-ups of iconic car emblems, Hood ornaments, Classic fenders, grilles and Bumper designs.
I look forward to hearing your reviews on this artwork, and will use your input as a guide for producing future pieces. Thank you for your interest and support.

Wow--Doug--this HAS to be clicked into to see the full extent of the art. I should know a thing or two about the Mustang---since I get a whiplash every time I see one. My dream was to have a yellow mustang. This is outstanding work---and should be a famous best seller. Love the horses above ornament and the rich bronze tone caught within the body of the ornament. Amazingly beautiful. LVF

Nava, If FAA only allowed One Person to comment on my artworks, I would want that person to be you. You would not be happy to know: When I was a teenager, I helped my older brother cut up a Yellow 1967 Mustang. We were going to build a stock car. The project ended before it was completed when my brother joined the Marines and I got engaged… (Happily Married 40 years this October).
