This is a digitally enhanced copy of an original, authentic antique 1903 World Series promotional lithograph associated with the famous landmark Boston McGreevy's Saloon which was a favorite hang out for baseball fans and players. This was the first modern baseball World Series in which the Pittsburgh Pirates played against the Boston Americans at the Huntington Avenue American League Baseball Grounds.
The World Series is the annual championship series of Major League Baseball in the United States and Canada, contested since 1903 between the champion teams of the American League and the National League. The winner of the World Series championship is determined through a best-of-seven playoff, and the winning team is awarded the Commissioner's Trophy.
The Fine Art America logo does appear in the final product.
