Description
This is the nymph of Hierodula tenuidentata (Saussure, 1869), aka Giant Asian Praying mantis. Previously I determined it as the nymph of Mantis religiosa (Linneus, 1758), or Praying European mantis.
Still, later I got to consider it as Hierodula tenuidentata due to a stockier build and a pulled-up abdomen, which is not typical for Mantis religiosa.
So, this male baby was about 2 cm or less an inch long. And it's gonna become about 6–8 cm or 2–2.5" when it gets adult or imago.
