I was traveling in New England, and while on Cape Cod was able to connect with a friend of mine who is a tour guide who connected me with a whale watching group out of Provinceton (Ptown as its known locally. We went out approximately 20 miles from the shore where the whales spend their summer feeding. Though there are sightings of a number of whale species, on this day there were only Humpbacks in attendance. I was informed that they were taking the day off from feeding and just strolling around. I noticed that hung out in groups and on occasion saw at least 4 at one time. Unfortunately they never broached the surface in play as they would while feeding but able to capture this series of images.....

It was pretty cool though the boat I was on was crowded.....I was surprised at how many shots I actually to get....would love to be on my own boat one day!!!
