Great capture! Is that Dryad's Saddle fungus? If so its a great eat (if youre into mushrooms that taste like a cross between unripe watermelon and cucumbers that is ;)

I don't know what kind it is, Alexandria. I don't care much for mushrooms so even if it IS tasty, I wouldn't appreciate it; also, not knowing much about them, I'd be VERY hesitant about eating one that a longtime expert hadn't approved, then eaten in front of me, and was still amongst the living 48 hours later !!! And thanks for the feature and the kind words...bith are very much appreciated.
