I work primarily on illustration board with water media including inks, gouache, acrylics, watercolors, etc., often mixed with collage- and rather large, in the 4' to 5' area.   I am interested in all things and draw my ideas from all facets of life.   I especially like to paint the human face and figure and incorporate them into much of my work.   Early in my career I painted and drew images only, and usually on location.   Now most of my work is conceptual and I use images to express ideas with all the work being done in my studio.   I use my own photographs as well...more
