At 12 yrs. old I was fascinated by this little box called a camera. If you pressed the button and brought the negatives to a drugstore, one week later photos would be returned in its' place. I didn't understand this magic. When I was old enough, I studied photography at Brooklyn College. I found that if I put my negatives in a thing called an enlarger a shadow would appear on photo paper. When I dropped that paper in some chemicals, a picture would emerge. Wow! I was hooked and so I studied at the International Center Of Photography. Now, I take a photo, plug my camera into my computer and the photo I just took pops up on my screen. Times have changed. I have had four one woman shows and one group show in Manhattan. It was an honor to have my photos, Brooklyn Bridge View in Sepia, selected out of 2000 photos, to appear in Under the Hat magazine for the March, 2013 issue and Portrait in Black and White appeared in the May, 2013 issue. Love on the Rocks appeared in the February, 2014 issue of Fine Art Photography (page 9). Simpler Times 2 was selected to appear in the June, 2014 issue of Fine Art Photography. I am delighted that Venice Piazza in the Afternoon was purchased by Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas to hang on their walls. I love selling my photos and knowing I will be part of that person's life for as long as my art work hangs on his or her wall. In my portfolio, I have many photos of New York City, and travel photos, from places I visited. However anything that catches my imagination is grist for my griddle.....oops, my camera. Black and white, or color, it doesn't much matter. I love both.
